Why Trade With Plexytrade?

"Plexytrade is a new trading platform offering attractive features such as a 1:2000 leverage, zero spreads on certain instruments, and quick execution speeds of less than 46 milliseconds. However, the company is not regulated which is a substantial issue, and the lack of research and educational tools puts it behind other leading platforms."

Pros

  • Different VPS packages start at $50 monthly, but they are free after reaching certain deposit amounts.
  • Plexytrade provides up to 1:2000 leverage, one of the highest rates available. It's designed for experienced traders who opt to bypass regulatory safeguards.
  • Plexytrade supports various trading tactics such as quick buying and selling, risk management, and computer-based trading.
  • Plexytrade, though unregulated, ensures trader safety by offering negative balance protection and maintaining segregated accounts for client funds.
  • Plexytrade is a unique offshore broker that accepts US residents as clients. This makes it one of the few offshore brokers that serve US-based traders.

Cons

  • Plexytrade, offering about 100 instruments, limits the options for traders interested in a variety of assets. This is particularly noticeable when compared to Blackbull, which has 26,000 securities.
  • Plexytrade isn't regulated in key regions, which raises the risk for traders who open an account or deposit money.
  • The platform doesn't offer social or copy trading options. This means that novice traders cannot mirror the actions of more accomplished traders, unlike on platforms such as eToro.
  • The platform lacks research and education tools, unlike IG. Also, only clients with at least $500 can view the economic calendar.
  • Plexytrade only accepts deposits and withdrawals through cryptocurrencies. It does not support bank cards, wire transfers, or e-wallets.

Regulation & Trust

Rating: 1.5

Navigating Plexytrade’s offerings requires caution.

The company has offices in Saint Lucia and Montenegro but operates without regulation.

This concerns me because regulated brokers provide fund security through audits, transparency, and legal protections.

Without proper oversight, there’s no guarantee of reliability.

Plexytrade claims to segregate client funds and offer negative balance protection, but its unregulated status means there’s no public financial disclosure.

Unlike established brokers like Plus500 or IG, Plexytrade isn’t listed on any stock exchange, making it harder to assess its financial stability.

  • Negative Balance Protection: Yes
  • Segregated Accounts: Yes

Accounts & Banking

Rating: 2.5

Live Accounts

Plexytrade offers four account types accessible on MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), each with different spreads, commissions, and leverage.

The Micro account suits traders with smaller funds, requiring just a $50 deposit. It offers 1:2000 leverage and variable spreads starting at 0.7 pips, with a max lot size of 5 per order. There’s no commission, but it lacks a personal account manager.

The Silver account raises the lot size limit to 50, requires a $300 deposit, and offers 1:500 leverage.

The Gold Raw account attracts scalpers with zero spreads and a $2 per lot commission ($4 round turn). It shares the Silver account’s 1:500 leverage and $300 deposit requirement.

The Platinum VIP account lowers the commission to $1 per lot ($2 round turn), increases the max lot size to 80, includes an annual VPS, and provides a personal account manager. However, leverage drops to 1:400, and the deposit requirement jumps to $10,000.

All accounts support Expert Advisors (EAs), scalping, hedging, and VPS hosting. The stop-out level is 20%, which is less restrictive than the 50% some brokers enforce.

Plexytrade doesn’t offer PAMM accounts yet but plans to introduce them soon. Islamic accounts are available for swap-free trading.

Setting up my account wasn’t smooth. An email verification glitch forced me to get manual approval from support, which took 48 hours to resolve.

Demo Accounts

I find Plexytrade’s demo accounts useful for testing strategies without any time limits.

They let me practice and build confidence before risking real money.

Since they don’t expire, I can refine my approach over time.

However, if I remain inactive for more than a month, my account will be archived, which can be frustrating, especially if I am testing long-term strategies.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Plexytrade only accepts cryptocurrency payments, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, which can be challenging if I’m used to traditional methods like a debit card or wire transfer.

However, transactions process quickly, and there are no fees, which helps keep my trading costs low.

The minimum deposit through third-party Confirmo starts at $20, making it accessible even for smaller accounts.

Since the platform mainly operates in USD and EUR, my crypto deposits convert to these currencies, and withdrawals follow the same process.

Assets & Markets

Rating: 2.5

Plexytrade focuses on forex and CFD trading, so I cannot access real stocks, ETFs, or options.

Its selection is smaller than top brokers, offering just 41 currency pairs along with CFDs on precious metals, commodities, indices, stocks, and cryptocurrencies.

Compared to platforms like CMC Markets, which offers over 300 forex pairs and 10,000 instruments, or IG, which offers over 100 currency pairs and 17,000 instruments, Plexytrade’s range feels limited.

I can trade 15 indices, 48 US stocks, three commodities, four metals, and five cryptocurrencies, using leverage to take advantage of market movements, especially in crypto with assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

However, I don’t have access to passive income options or copy trading, which makes platforms like eToro more appealing for traders who prefer a hands-off approach.

While Plexytrade doesn’t cater to passive traders, it still provides a solid platform for trading a range of financial instruments.

  • Commodities: Gold, Natural Gas, Oil, Palladium, Platinum, Silver
  • Crypto Coins: BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, XRP

Fees & Costs

Rating: 3.3

Plexytrade keeps pricing competitive with tight spreads and low fees. My spreads depend on the account type.

With a Gold Raw account, I can trade major pairs like EUR/USD with spreads as low as 0.0 pips, paying a $2 per lot commission.

If I upgrade to a Platinum VIP account, the commission drops to $1 per lot.

I don’t have to worry about deposit or withdrawal fees, and Plexytrade even covers crypto conversion costs.

Trading stocks, metals, and indices come with no extra commissions, which helps keep costs low.

I also have the chance to boost my capital with a 120% cash bonus on up to three trading accounts.

To qualify, I must deposit at least $200 and meet a trading volume of 100,000 units on forex and metals.

Checking all the bonus terms is essential to make sure I can fully take advantage of the offer.

Platforms & Tools

Rating: 2.5

Plexytrade doesn’t have its platform, which could be an issue for beginners, but it does support two of the most trusted third-party options: MT4 and MT5.

MT4 works well for me when I want something straightforward. It’s packed with indicators and focuses on forex and CFDs. I can trade from my desktop, mobile, or browser without hassle.

MT5 Web Trader offers a convenient, browser-based platform

When I need something more advanced, MT5 steps in with faster execution and support for stocks and crypto.

It’s designed for experienced traders and has extra tools that come in handy, though it takes a bit more time to master.

Unfortunately, Plexytrade doesn’t support TradingView or cTrader, which might be a downside for traders who rely on those easy-to-use platforms.

Research

Rating: 0.5

Plexytrade is lacking in research tools.

It provides technical analysis through third-party Trading Central, which helps with market insights, but only when I make a deposit of $5,000.

While this adds some value, research options still feel limited.

I can also get Trading Central analysis from other brokers, such as IC Markets and TopFX, without making such a large deposit.

Screenshot showing the Plexytrade economic calendar

The economic calendar is a helpful tool for keeping track of major market events

The only other major tool is an economic calendar, which requires a $5,000 deposit to access.

No blogs, forecasts, or market sentiment indicators make staying informed and making well-rounded trading decisions more challenging.

Education

Rating: 0.5

Plexytrade doesn’t offer many educational resources, which can be challenging for new traders.

While platforms like eToro and Axi excel in providing educational materials, Plexytrade is still catching up.

The blog provides some insights, but it’s not as comprehensive or structured for beginners.

The Plexytrade blog provides helpful tutorials on popular technical indicators

The ‘Education‘ section on its website includes basic resources for funded account holders, but there are no detailed tutorials or webinars to help me better understand the markets.

While there’s potential for future updates, for now, the learning support is limited.

Customer Support

Rating: 3.5

Plexytrade has its strengths, but customer support could use improvement.

It offers 24/5 support through live chat, email, and phone, which is convenient.

However, there’s no multilingual support, and I need to contact a phone number in Montenegro for urgent issues.

When I had trouble setting up my demo account, the live chat team responded quickly and answered most of my questions.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t resolve the account approval issue right away, so I had to contact email support.

While the email response took about two days, my issue was eventually sorted out.

Should You Trade Plexytrade?

Plexytrade offers low fees and high leverage, which appeals to active traders.

However, it falls short in some critical areas.

It lacks a wide range of financial instruments and doesn’t have substantial regulatory compliance, which is concerning.

Additionally, the platform lacks solid research tools, educational resources, and platform variety, making it less suitable for new traders.
