What We Publish

  • Independent, data-backed reports on what’s really happening at brokers.
  • Expert commentary on brokerage trends, new features, and the wider financial markets.
  • Assets ready to be cited: datasets, charts, and media-friendly summaries.

How We Work

  • We set the rules up front: questions, scope, data fields, and methodology.
  • Reliable sources: regulators, broker disclosures/filings, and our proprietary data.
  • Careful collection: researchers gather data, standardize entries, and review for errors.
  • Clear analysis: easy-to-follow stats and straightforward evaluation rules so you can follow every step.
  • Checks and audits: at least one additional researcher fact-checks and runs spot audits of original data.
  • Limits stated: timeframe, coverage, and any biases are called out clearly in our final reports.
  • Independent: no pay-to-feature (or not feature). Brands can’t edit or unfairly influence our findings.

Featured Study: Broker Complaints Report for 2025

We documented and analyzed approximately 1,000 one- and two-star reviews for 10 major brokers across 12 months to see where platforms let users down the most.

Key findings:

  • Subpar app experiences dominate traders’ complaints (e.g., crashes, lag, confusing user experience).
  • Execution and payment problems persist (missed fills, delays, deposit and withdrawal frustrations).
  • Support issues amplify everything, with slow, canned and automated replies turning small bugs into larger problems.
  • Legacy brokerages often draw criticism for their dated platform design, while mobile-first brokers score better on responsiveness.

Methodology snapshot:

  • Sources: App Store, Google Play, Trustpilot, Google Reviews
  • Sample: Approximately 100 low-rated reviews per brand × 10 brokers
  • Coding: 911 issue mentions across 15 themes

This study summarized publicly available, self-reported reviews over a 12-month period and a limited set of brokers. We did not independently verify each review. The analysis is for general information only and not investment advice or an endorsement of any firm.
