James Barra
James is an active investor and financial services professional. He was formerly a management consultant in the banking and capital markets sector, where he worked with some of the UK and Europe’s largest banks.

Nowadays, James aims to help everyday investors find reliable, affordable platforms with trading conditions that match the user’s needs. He contributes to a number of websites in the investing niche, has been quoted in respected financial outlets like Business Insider, been interviewed on US, UK and German television, plus been a guest on personal finance podcasts, discussing studies conducted by BrokerListings.com and sharing his expertise, including on Money Life with Chuck Jaffe, News on 6 and UK Local TV.
He has a degree in Law and a qualification in Business Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
