Pros

  • The broker provides up to 1:2000 leverage for some accounts, a peak level in the industry. This high leverage lets traders increase their potential gains, but also increases risk.
  • RoboForex offers tight spreads starting at 0 pips and low minimum deposits from $10, making it affordable. Trading with micro lots additionally reduces entry barriers for new traders.
  • RoboForex won the 'Best Forex Broker 2025' award from DayTrading.com for expanding their FX services, reducing spreads, and increasing availability in multiple countries.
  • RoboForex offers more than 12,000 instruments for trading. This includes forex, stocks, indices, ETFs, commodities, and futures. Comparatively, this surpasses the trading opportunities available from most online brokers.
  • The R Stocks Trader platform competes with top platforms like MT4, offering netting and hedging abilities, thorough backtesting, Level II pricing, and a versatile workspace.

Cons

  • RoboForex now only allows USD and EUR as base currencies. This could lead to conversion fees and inconvenience for traders who prefer managing their accounts in other currencies.
  • RoboForex offers many account types which, although flexible, can be daunting for new traders to select the most appropriate for their trading preferences. Other platforms like eToro simplify the process with a single retail account option.
  • RoboForex provides fair spreads, but some of its account types have high trading commissions up to $20 per lot, which are more expensive compared to more affordable brokers like IC Markets.
  • RoboForex, despite having many platforms, does not yet support the commonly used cTrader. This can dissuade traders who favor this platform for trading, which is accessible with firms such as Fusion Markets.
  • RoboForex, with more than 15 years in the industry, is authorized by the IFSC in Belize, a 'Red-Tier' regulator. This authorization provides a lower level of regulatory protection for traders.

Regulation & Trust

Rating: 3.0

RoboForex has built a solid reputation over the past 15+ years and earned over 40 industry awards.

It keeps funds in segregated accounts, which adds a layer of investment protection.

I also appreciate its negative balance protection, ensuring I never lose more than my account balance during market volatility.

Also, data and transactions stay secure with SSL encryption, giving peace of mind.

However, RoboForex operates under the regulation of the International Financial Services Commission (IFSC) in Belize, which doesn’t offer the same level of investor protection as top-tier regulators like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

While the broker provides useful safeguards, its regulatory credibility doesn’t quite match that of some of its strongest competitors, such as IG or XTB.

Regulation & Trust Details

  • Regulator: IFSC
  • Guaranteed Stop Loss: No
  • Negative Balance Protection: Yes
  • Segregated Accounts: Yes

Accounts & Banking

Rating: 4.0

Live Accounts

RoboForex offers five account types: Prime, ECN, R StocksTrader, ProCent, and Pro.

Most require just a $10 minimum deposit, making them easy to access, but the R StocksTrader account needs $100 and comes with unique stock trading perks.

The ECN and Prime accounts are the best choices if you’re looking for zero-pip spreads.

On the other hand, the ProCent and Pro accounts suit more casual traders, with spreads starting at 1.3 pips and no commissions.

Each account differs in more than just fees—margin requirements, leverage, and stop-out levels also vary.

RoboForex also offers Islamic accounts and investment platforms like CopyFX and RAMM, which support short-term and long-term trading strategies.

Setting up a real-money account is quick, taking just a few minutes on the RoboForex homepage, though verification can take a few hours.

Demo Accounts

A drawback I noticed during testing is that the demo account is only available for 90 days, which might not give enough time to test trading strategies fully.

Some other brokers, like IG, have no time limit on demo accounts, so I’ve been able to take all the time I need to really learn.

Another limitation is that bonuses are offered only for Pro accounts, leaving R StocksTrader accounts without that benefit.

Deposits & Withdrawals

Since March 2024, you can only deposit funds on RoboForex in USD or EUR.

The platform offers plenty of payment options, including bank wire transfers, debit card, credit card, and e-wallets, but PayPal and Bitcoin payments aren’t supported.

Deposits are free and process quickly, with a minimum of 10 USD or EUR for standard accounts.

You have several options when you withdraw funds, but the processing time and availability depend on your location.

Wire transfers can take up to five days, while credit and debit card withdrawals may take up to 10 days.

On the other hand, electronic payment methods are usually completed within minutes or a day.

Some withdrawal methods come with charges even though deposits don’t have extra fees.

SEPA transfers have a 1.5% fee, Visa withdrawals include a 2.6% fee plus a $1.30 flat charge, and Skrill and Neteller charge 1% and 1.9%, respectively.

RoboForex offers a ‘Free Funds Withdrawal‘ program, which lets you withdraw funds from your account with no commissions three times a month.

Assets & Markets

Rating: 4.0

RoboForex has a wide range of investment options, though its 12,000+ instruments don’t quite match what you can find on BlackBull Markets or Interactive Brokers.

You have access to over 8,400 stock and ETF CFDs from major exchanges like Nasdaq and London Stock Exchange, covering various industries to diversify trades.

If you prefer direct equity, RoboForex offers more than 3,000 real stocks from US companies.

Regarding indices, you can trade across 10 markets, including major ones like the S&P 500, DAX 40, and FTSE 100, which are great for economic speculation.

The commodities selection feels limited, with only four assets focused mainly on precious metals and energy.

Gold stands out for its competitive pricing, but wheat and coffee are missing.

One major drawback is the lack of crypto, bond, or options trading, which IG provides.

Assets & Markets Details

  • Instruments: CFDs, Forex, Stocks, Indices, Commodities, ETFs, Futures
  • Leverage: 1:2000
  • Margin Trading: Yes
  • Stock Exchanges: Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), CAC 40 Index France, DAX GER 40 Index, Deutsche Boerse, Dow Jones, Euronext, FTSE UK Index, IBEX 35, Japan Exchange Group, Nasdaq, New York Stock Exchange, S&P 500, SIX Swiss Exchange
  • Commodities: Cocoa, Coffee, Copper, Corn, Gold, Natural Gas, Nickel, Oil, Palladium, Platinum, Silver, Soybeans, Sugar, Wheat
  • Crypto Coins: No

Fees & Costs

Rating: 3.5

RoboForex offers flexible account options, letting you choose between ECN or STP execution depending on whether you want lower spreads or zero-commission trading.

The fees are included in the spreads for Pro-Cent and Pro accounts, which average 1.4 pips on EUR/USD and 1.75 pips on US indices.

When you use an ECN account, you get competitive spreads, with EUR/USD going as low as 0.1 pips, though the commission varies between $10 and $20 per round lot.

Even with the higher commissions, RoboForex balances it out by offering rebates and profits from STP trade spreads.

Stock and ETF investments are commission-free, which makes trading those assets more cost-effective.

Another perk is that RoboForex has no inactivity fees, so dormant accounts won’t get penalized.

You also benefit from low commissions on gold trading, which are just $1 per lot, well below industry averages.

The downside is that RoboForex doesn’t pay interest on uninvested cash, unlike XTB or Interactive Brokers, which means you can’t earn anything on idle funds.

  • Crypto Spread: Variable

Platforms & Tools

Rating: 4.1

RoboForex stands out with the variety of trading platforms it offers.

The MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms are popular with experienced traders due to their customization options and the ability to integrate Expert Advisors (EAs).

These platforms are available across multiple devices—Mac, PC, Linux, browsers, and mobile apps—making them very versatile.

Trade stocks with ease on RoboForex’s sleek R StocksTrader platform

RoboForex’s proprietary platform, R StocksTrader, is handy for stock trading and includes TradingView charts, which I find helpful for analysis.

While I’ve found it lacks the flexibility of MetaTrader, R StocksTrader offers great adaptability, with a wide range of analytical tools, timeframes, and easy zooming.

For those into social trading, RoboForex offers CopyFX, a platform on which you can promote your own strategies or copy the trades of others.

It gives you control over various aspects, such as metrics, commissions, investment periods, and deposits, allowing you to create a personalized trading experience.

Research

Rating: 3.8

I’m impressed with RoboForex’s research tools, which help me make more informed trading decisions.

The ‘Economic Calendar‘ stands out because it gives insights into global economic events, helping me predict market movements.

The ‘Trading Calculator’ is also invaluable for estimating potential profits, losses, and costs across different instruments.

The daily ‘Market Analysis’ help me spot new trading setups, offering concise technical analyses and charts to keep me updated on market trends.

Screenshot showing RoboForex signals

RoboForex’s trading signals provide real-time insights for smarter decision-making

RoboForex offers trading signals in the client area, a handy tool when you want to take advantage of market opportunities immediately.

These signals provide buy and sell recommendations based on technical analysis, which helps make more informed decisions without analyzing everything independently.

They cover a variety of instruments, including forex pairs, stocks, indices, and commodities, which gives flexibility depending on what you’re trading.

The signals are updated regularly, so you get fresh insights as market conditions change.

While they can be instrumental, I always combine them with my research to ensure I make well-rounded decisions.

Lastly, the ‘News Feed’ is super convenient—it keeps you updated on market developments with a balance of technical and fundamental analysis, which helps clarify initial market reactions and current trading setups.

Education

Rating: 3.8

RoboForex organizes trading topics on its blog into clear categories with articles and videos, making learning practical and accessible.

One feature I particularly like is the ‘Strategies’ section. It covers methods such as ‘Scalping with Parabolic SAR + CCI’ and ‘Trading on gaps,’ which are particularly helpful for short-term traders.

This section provides valuable insights, especially for beginners developing their strategies.

The ‘Glossary‘ is another helpful tool, helping newcomers understand key trading terms.

Screenshot showing RoboForex video course

RoboForex’s video courses offer clear, structured lessons for beginners

RoboForex’s video courses in the client area offer an excellent resource for helping to enhance skills.

The courses are designed to cover a wide range of topics, from the basics of trading to more advanced strategies.

They’re organized to make it easy to progress step by step, and the content is presented through clear, concise videos.

However, adding more advanced content on specific topics could improve them.

Regular webinars or seminars would also help traders stay updated with market trends.

Customer Support

Rating: 4.3

RoboForex excels in multilingual support, offering help in over 12 languages, including English, Spanish, and Arabic, all day, every day.

I’ve easily accessed support for both general queries and urgent issues through various channels. Options include a 24/7 phone line, Telegram, WhatsApp, email, and live chat.

For simpler questions, the forum and FAQ section are helpful. They cover topics like account deletion, trading contests, and platform navigation guides.

These resources make it easy to bypass direct contact with the Belize headquarters, offering prompt and efficient service.

Should You Trade With RoboForex?

With over 15 years of experience, RoboForex offers the opportunity to trade across thousands of instruments, including STP and ECN accounts, derivatives, investment products, copy trading, and various platforms, making it suitable for a huge range of traders.

However, its weak regulatory credentials and the limited range of currency pairs and account currencies might be drawbacks for some traders.
