Is Eightcap Available in the USA?
Eightcap does not accept clients who reside in the United States. None of its entities (ASIC, FCA, CySEC, or the offshore arms) is registered with the US regulators, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), or the National Futures Association (NFA). We also tried opening an Eightcap account from a US IP address – the broker doesn’t let you. You need a top US-regulated broker.

Why Eightcap Doesn’t Accept US Traders
Although Eightcap is a legit brokerage, without registration from the US CFTC or NFA, it can’t legally onboard US residents, and you won’t be able to complete sign-up with a US address. Its client agreements also often state that clients from or those who reside in the US are not accepted.
This isn’t unusual. The US runs one of the strictest regimes for retail forex trading (and CFDs are effectively banned), and many international brokers stay out rather than meet its capital and registration demands.
For context, some US residents sought to use Eightcap indirectly through ‘prop firms’ (funded trading account programs like FundedNext, FTMO, etc.) where Eightcap acted as the backend broker. However, in early 2024, following pressure from MetaQuotes (the makers of MetaTrader), Eightcap was pushed to pull much of these prop services.
A quick caution: if a site claims to offer Eightcap accounts to US residents, treat it as a clone or scam and verify against the official registers before parting with any money.
If you do try and sign up for an Eightcap account from the US, you get an error message like the below, which we got when we registered from a New York IP address.
