Does XTB Have Options?
Yes, XTB offers options, but only if you are in one of the seven supported markets. XTB’s options setup comes with familiar charts and access to US large-cap stocks and ETFs. However, if you are an experienced options trader who needs to sell premium or build spreads, these features are not available yet.

Options Coverage And Our Picks
We analyzed the over 140 options products at XTB, spanning stocks and ETFs. The offering is strongest in tech and AI, with 30+ stocks across mega-cap software, cloud, cybersecurity and semiconductors, including NVDA, AMD, ARM, AVGO, MSFT, META and PANW. This may suit momentum traders and those using earnings to buy.
There is also a strong selection of healthcare/biotech firms, with around 20 stocks, including LLY, UNH, JNJ, PFE, MRK, MRNA, GILD and SRPT. These may suit traders who focus on defensive sectors and drug approvals.
The line-up of ETFs is fairly modest, with 8 ETF options covering broad equities, tech, small caps, gold, silver, Bitcoin, energy and SPACs. SPY, QQQ and IWM will suit index and more macro-focused traders, while GLD/SLV could work for inflation or safe-haven viewpoints, and IBIT gives exposure to crypto.

Why Buy-Only Matters
The main limitation at XTB is that you can only buy options. This allows you to make directional trades with a known maximum risk – the most you can lose is what you paid for the option. However, you cannot use strategies that require selling options, such as covered calls, cash-secured puts, or spreads with a short leg. That said, XTB has noted that buy-only is just the first step and may expand its offerings in the future
