A cent account displays balances in cents. For example, a deposit of USD 10 may show as 1,000 cents. Positions themselves are not always listed in cents, but they are often traded through reduced contract sizes. This allows traders to lower their nominal market exposure, making them popular with some beginners and those with less starting capital. Does Pepperstone Have Cent Accounts?

Pepperstone does not offer a cent-based trading account. We verified this in two ways:

  1. We signed up for a Pepperstone account to see the account options available. There was no account listed in cents – just its Standard and Razor options, plus Spread Betting in the UK. Pepperstone offers standard sized trading accounts, with position sizes shown in lots, e.g. 0.01 lots, which is equivalent to 1 micro lot.
  2. We checked with Pepperstone’s support team in case users have to apply for a cent account separately, or in case it goes by another name. As you can see below, their support team confirmed a cent account isn’t offered.
