Quick Verdict

Neither Exness nor RoboForex accepts traders from USA. Instead, we recommend FOREX.com, a top-rated alternative that impressed our team during testing and accepts traders from your location.

Exness is the overall winner for active forex traders. It has lower-cost raw pricing, more forex pairs, faster funding, and a smoother proprietary terminal.

RoboForex is stronger for shares, ETFs, copy trading, education, and platform choice. Its direct access to 3,000+ US stocks is a major advantage, while Exness does not offer real shares or ETFs.

In our hands-on tests, both brokers offered MT4, MT5, leverage up to 1:2000, demo accounts, segregated funds, and no inactivity fee. Recent changes include Exness lowering Raw Spread and Zero spreads in 2024, RoboForex adding its MobileTrader Telegram Mini App, RoboForex expanding MT5 funding support for MXN, THB, UZS and KZT, and Exness adding newly listed equities such as SpaceX CFDs.

Regulation & Trust

Exness RoboForex
Trust Rating 4.0 3.3

Exness is the better choice for trust, but neither broker matches top-tier regulated rivals. Exness has operated since 2008, giving it a slightly longer track record than RoboForex, which has operated for 17+ years. In our direct checks, Exness also held a broader set of regulatory permissions, including the FSCA in South Africa and CMA in Kenya, alongside offshore entities.

RoboForex is mainly regulated by the IFSC in Belize, an offshore regulator with weaker investor safeguards. Both brokers use segregated client funds and negative balance protection, and neither is listed on a stock exchange. Our hands-on safety review found that Exness has a wider regulatory footprint, though its FCA and CySEC permissions are not for retail trading and protections vary by client location.

Neither review provides a verified client-base number, so size cannot be used as a deciding measure. RoboForex also appears on Ukraine’s list of dubious investment projects, while Exness has faced local authorization warnings, including in the Philippines in 2026. Exness wins because of its longer history and wider regulatory coverage, but cautious traders should still check the exact entity serving their country.

Accounts & Banking

Exness RoboForex
Accounts Rating 4.4 4.3

Exness wins for accounts and banking. It offers Standard, Standard Cent, Pro, Raw Spread, and Zero accounts, plus a flexible demo account with $10,000 virtual funds. During hands-on account setup, email, phone, identity, and address verification took less than one day.

RoboForex also has five main accounts: Prime, ECN, R StocksTrader, ProCent, and Pro. It adds Islamic account options, CopyFX, and RAMM investing, which gives it a useful edge for social and strategy-based traders. However, our direct use showed that its demo account expires after 90 days, which can interrupt long strategy tests.

Both brokers start from $10 on most accounts, although Exness Pro needs $200 and RoboForex R StocksTrader needs $100. Exness supports 40+ base currencies, cards, e-wallets, and crypto payments, with many transfers processed instantly; Skrill and Neteller deposits took around 30 minutes and crypto took up to an hour. RoboForex supports bank wires, cards, and e-wallets, but deposits have been limited to USD and EUR since March 2024, while bank withdrawal can take up to five days and card withdrawals up to 10 days.

Our withdrawal checks showed the key difference: Exness is built for quick access to funds, while RoboForex can charge 1.5% for SEPA, 2.6% plus $1.30 for Visa, 1% for Skrill, and 1.9% for Neteller outside its three free monthly withdrawals. Exness lacks bank wire transfers and two-factor authentication, so it is not perfect. Still, its wider currency choice, more flexible demo, and much faster typical payments make it the clear winner.

Assets & Markets

Exness RoboForex
Assets Rating 3.5 4.0

RoboForex wins for market range. It offers more than 12,000 instruments, including 8,400+ stock and ETF CFDs, over 3,000 real US stocks, forex, indices, commodities, and precious metals. In side-by-side platform use, its R StocksTrader account gave far more ways to build a stock-focused portfolio.

Exness is better for currency traders, with over 100 forex pairs, plus CFDs on stocks, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. Our trading tests found this to be a broad forex-led offering, but it does not include ETFs, options, bonds, or direct share dealing.

RoboForex also has gaps. It does not offer crypto, bonds, or options, and its commodity list has only four markets, mainly metals and energy. RoboForex takes this category because real shares, stock CFDs, and ETF CFDs give it much wider portfolio coverage than Exness.

Fees & Costs

Exness RoboForex
Costs Rating 3.8 3.8

Exness wins on forex trading costs. Its 2024 spread reduction made the Raw Spread and Zero accounts especially sharp for frequent traders. Exness also has no inactivity fee, swap-free options, and usually no broker fee for deposits or withdrawals, although payment providers may charge.

For a concrete EUR/USD one-lot example, assume a $10 value per pip. On Exness Raw Spread, a 0.0-pip spread plus a $3.50 commission per side produces an estimated total cost of $7 per round trip. On RoboForex ECN, a 0.1-pip spread costs about $1, plus a stated $10 to $20 round-lot commission, making the total roughly $11 to $21.

Our spread comparison also found that RoboForex Pro and ProCent accounts average 1.4 pips on EUR/USD, or about $14 per one-lot trade before any other costs. It does offer commission-free stock and ETF investing and low gold commission of $1 per lot, which is useful for equity and metal traders. Both brokers charge no inactivity fee and neither pays interest on unused cash.

Exness has a simpler low-cost route for active forex trading, despite its several account pricing models taking time to understand. RoboForex’s transfer fees can add up, especially on card and SEPA withdrawals. Exness is the cheaper overall pick for high-volume currency trading.

Platforms & Tools

Exness RoboForex
Platforms Rating 3.9 4.2

RoboForex wins for the widest platform and tool selection. Both brokers provide MT4 and MT5 across desktop, web, and mobile, with Expert Advisor support for automated trading. In our live-platform testing, both MetaTrader packages felt capable but dated beside newer charting platforms.

Exness adds its clean, TradingView-powered Exness Terminal, which was easier to learn in our hands-on tests. It includes watchlists, charts, account controls, and real-time trading, though it lacks some advanced chart types such as Renko. Exness also offers free VPS hosting when eligibility is met, including a $2,000 balance or a $500 balance plus $1,500,000 monthly volume.

RoboForex adds R StocksTrader, CopyFX social trading, and the MobileTrader Telegram Mini App. The newer Telegram tool lets clients analyze markets, trade, and manage accounts inside the messaging app. We found R StocksTrader especially useful for share trading, although it is less flexible than MetaTrader for deep customization.

RoboForex wins because it combines MT4, MT5, R StocksTrader, CopyFX, and Telegram trading. Exness remains the better choice for traders who want the simplest proprietary web terminal.

Research

Exness RoboForex
Research Rating 4.3 4.4

RoboForex is better for research because it supplies more in-house daily analysis. Its toolkit includes an economic calendar, trading calculator, daily market analysis, signals, and a news feed. During our direct use, the short market updates and chart-led trade ideas were quick to scan.

Exness offers FXStreet news, an economic calendar, Trading Central analysis, a trading calculator, and a live currency converter. Trading Central is a valuable third-party tool for technical signals, and our hands-on checks found the calculator useful for working out margin, pips, spreads, and commissions before entering an order.

Exness does not provide detailed in-house research reports, and the calendar has limited filtering. Research was also not fully integrated into the Exness Terminal, creating extra steps during testing. RoboForex wins through its daily internal analysis and regularly refreshed signals, while Exness is still strong for Trading Central users.

Education

Exness RoboForex
Education Rating 2.8 4.1

RoboForex is clearly better for education. It provides organized articles, a glossary, strategy guides, and step-by-step video courses in the client area. In our hands-on review, its strategy content on topics such as Parabolic SAR with CCI and gap trading gave new traders practical ideas to study.

Exness offers market articles, a helpful Help Center, and a demo account, but it does not provide structured courses, webinars, videos, or a proper learning academy. Our direct checks showed that its written explanations are clear, yet beginners may struggle to build skills from them alone.

RoboForex could still improve with more advanced lessons and regular webinars. Even so, its videos, strategy material, and glossary make it the much stronger learning choice.

Customer Support

Exness RoboForex
Support Rating 4.5 4.6

RoboForex wins customer support by a narrow margin. It provides 24/7 help in more than 12 languages through phone, live chat, email, Telegram, WhatsApp, forums, and FAQs. The broad channel choice is valuable when a trader needs help away from a computer.

Exness offers 24/7 multilingual support in 15 languages, with live chat and email. In our support tests, live chat answered a withdrawal-fee question within minutes, while a detailed VPS email reply took a few hours. This was fast and helpful, but the lack of phone support and dedicated account managers was noticeable.

RoboForex offers the stronger all-round contact package because it includes a 24/7 phone line and messaging apps. Exness has excellent chat quality and language coverage, but RoboForex is the better pick for traders who want more ways to reach support.

Is Exness or RoboForex Better For Beginners?

RoboForex is better for beginners overall. Both brokers offer demos and most live accounts start at $10, but RoboForex provides video courses, strategy articles, and a glossary, while Exness mainly offers Help Center articles. Our hands-on learning review found RoboForex’s material easier to follow from basic concepts through to simple strategies.

Exness is still attractive for a first small forex account because Standard Cent supports micro-lots and its platform is very easy to use. However, its demo is stronger because it is not limited to 90 days, while RoboForex’s demo expires after three months. Beginners who value education and phone support should choose RoboForex; those who value a longer demo and tiny forex trades may prefer Exness.

Is Exness or RoboForex Better For Experienced Traders?

RoboForex is better for experienced traders who need varied advanced tools. It supports MT4 and MT5 automation, EAs, CopyFX, R StocksTrader, and the Telegram Mini App. In side-by-side use, its share-market access and social trading options created more ways to run different trading approaches.

Exness is highly competitive for expert forex traders using MT4, MT5, fast execution, raw pricing, and VPS hosting. Its VPS access has clear eligibility rules, including a $2,000 balance or qualifying volume. Neither review confirms a full public trading API, so traders needing API access should verify this directly before opening an account.

Choose RoboForex for broader tools and share-market strategies; choose Exness for low-cost automated forex trading and VPS access.

Is Exness or RoboForex Better For Short-term Traders?

Exness is better for short-term forex traders. Its Raw Spread account can deliver a roughly $7 EUR/USD one-lot round-trip cost in the stated example, below RoboForex ECN’s estimated $11 to $21 range. Our direct fee checks also found Exness offers near-zero pricing through both Raw Spread and Zero accounts.

Both brokers support scalping-style tools through MT4, MT5, EAs, and leverage up to 1:2000. Exness also gives eligible automated traders free VPS hosting and fast typical withdrawals, useful when managing active strategies. RoboForex remains appealing for short-term stock CFD trading and CopyFX, but its higher ECN commissions reduce its edge for frequent forex trades.

Exness is the stronger choice for day and swing traders focused on currency pairs, execution, and low trading costs.

Is Exness or RoboForex Better For Long-Term Traders?

RoboForex is better for long-term traders. It offers more than 3,000 real US stocks plus thousands of stock and ETF CFDs, while Exness only offers CFDs and has no ETFs, bonds, or direct shares. In our market testing, RoboForex gave investors far more choice for longer-term stock positions.

Both brokers charge no inactivity fee, which is helpful for traders who hold positions or pause trading. Neither broker pays interest on uninvested cash, and neither review confirms a full auto-investing service for traditional portfolios. RoboForex does offer CopyFX and RAMM, but these are strategy-following products rather than a standard passive investment plan.

RoboForex wins because its direct shares and ETF CFD range are far more useful for building longer-term exposure.

Is Exness or RoboForex Better For Trading On Mobile?

RoboForex is better for mobile trading features, while Exness is easier for simple mobile use. Both brokers support the MT4 and MT5 mobile apps. RoboForex also added the MobileTrader Telegram Mini App, allowing market analysis, account management, and trading inside Telegram.

In our mobile-platform testing, Exness Terminal felt clean and less crowded, which suits newer traders checking positions and placing simple orders. RoboForex offers more routes to trade on the move through R StocksTrader, MetaTrader, and Telegram. RoboForex wins for choice and newer mobile access, but Exness is the smoother pick for a simple trading screen.

Why Pick Exness Over RoboForex?

Pick Exness for low-cost forex trading, 100+ currency pairs, and fast everyday funding. Its Raw Spread pricing is cheaper in the one-lot EUR/USD example, it supports 40+ base currencies, and many withdrawals are processed instantly. Our hands-on tests also found its TradingView-powered terminal simpler to use than the more complex RoboForex setup.

Exness is also the stronger option for traders who want a Standard Cent account, a flexible demo, 24/7 support in 15 languages, and eligible free VPS hosting. Its regulatory coverage is wider than RoboForex’s Belize-focused setup. It is best suited to active forex and CFD traders rather than investors seeking real shares.

Why Pick RoboForex Over Exness?

Pick RoboForex for real US shares, ETF CFDs, copy trading, stronger education, and wider platform choice. Its 12,000+ instruments and 3,000+ real US stocks give it a much stronger investment-style offering. Our direct platform use also showed that CopyFX, R StocksTrader, and the Telegram Mini App add useful flexibility.

RoboForex is a good fit for traders who want courses, video lessons, a glossary, daily market analysis, and 24/7 phone support. It also provides bank wire funding, which Exness does not. Its main trade-offs are weaker regulatory standing, a 90-day demo limit, slower possible withdrawals, and higher forex ECN costs.

RoboForex offers excellent iOS and Android platforms for short-term trading, including MT4 and MT5.
